Welcome to Luxa . These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Luxa’s platform, applications, and related services (“Services”).

By accessing or using Luxa, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

2. About Luxa

At Luxa, we are trust enforcers, bringing luxury-level assurance to everyday shopping. Our mission is to make every transaction secure, transparent, and reliable.

Customers can interact with 3D models of products, exploring size, fit, and details in a spatial environment — especially helpful for first-time purchases. However, the true trust lies in Luxa’s backend systems, not just the visuals:

Escrow-protected payments ensure funds are only released after verification and delivery.

Two-stage inspections guarantee the product received matches the verified listing.

Strict enforcement rules protect both customers and vendors from fraud or misrepresentation.

For vendors, Luxa is a platform for growth, credibility, and visibility. Vendors gain featured placement, promotional opportunities, and exposure, while adhering to standards that protect customer trust.

Our goal is simple: to provide a luxury-level shopping experience for everyday purchases, where customers can interact confidently with products and vendors can grow responsibly.

3. Eligibility

Luxa’s Services are available to individuals aged 15 years and above.
By using Luxa, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

4. Account Registration

To use key features of Luxa, users (both customers and vendors) must create an account.
By registering, you agree to:

  1. Provide truthful and complete details during signup
  2. Keep login credentials secure
  3. Accept full responsibility for all actions performed through your account
  4. Luxa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found engaging in 5. fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful behavior.

5. Product Verification and 3D Rendering

Luxa enforces a strict product verification process before any item goes live on the platform:

Physical Verification: Every product is physically inspected by Luxa’s verification team to confirm authenticity, quality, and accuracy.

3D Rendering: A 3D-rendered version of the verified item is produced and published as the hero image of the listing.

Accuracy Guarantee: Luxa prohibits artificial enhancements, digital exaggeration, or misleading edits.

Vendor Approval: Vendors must confirm the verified 3D representation before public listing.

This ensures customers interact with realistic, trustworthy, and data-backed product visuals — not marketing illusions.

6. Escrow and Payment System

Luxa operates a secure escrow-based payment system to safeguard both customers and vendors.

How It Works:

Customers make payments securely through Luxa’s payment gateway.

Funds are held in escrow until the product has been delivered and verified.

After successful customer confirmation, payments are released to the vendor.

If a product is damaged, misrepresented, or not as described, Luxa can initiate a refund following inspection and dispute resolution.

Luxa does not store full payment card details. All payments are processed through PCI DSS–compliant third-party processors.

7. Delivery and Two-Stage Inspection

All deliveries are handled directly by Luxa or its verified logistics partners to maintain full trust and accountability.

Luxa implements a two-stage inspection process:

Pre-Pickup Inspection: Products are verified for condition and authenticity before pickup from the vendor.

Delivery Point Inspection: A final inspection occurs upon delivery to the customer before releasing escrow funds.

Vendors are not permitted to self-deliver or use unauthorized couriers.
This ensures every order maintains the same verified chain of trust from listing to handover.

Automatic Refund on Product Mismatch

If Luxa detects that the product supplied for delivery does not match the one originally verified and rendered in 3D, the delivery will be immediately halted.
Luxa will initiate an automatic full refund to the customer and may suspend or permanently remove the vendor from the platform.

Such mismatches constitute a serious breach of trust, and no appeals or partial settlements will apply.

8. Vendor Obligations

Vendors on Luxa agree to:

  1. Provide accurate, honest, and complete product information.
  2. Allow Luxa to verify and create 3D renderings before listings go live.
  3. Maintain product quality consistency post-verification.
  4. Participate in inspections and refund processes when required.

Vendor profiles on Luxa publicly display:

Business name, address, vendor bio, description, main category, products, profile photo, customer reviews, ratings, and successful delivery count.

Fraudulent, misleading, or non-cooperative vendors may face account suspension, removal, or withheld payments.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate delivery and payment details.

Use Luxa’s platform exclusively for all communication, payments, and transactions.

Inspect items upon delivery and confirm receipt promptly.

Report any issues truthfully within the allowed dispute period.

⚠️ Bypassing Luxa’s System

Customers must not attempt to transact privately or outside Luxa’s platform.

Any offshore, off-platform, or private transactions (including direct payments or side deals with vendors) are strictly at the customer’s own risk.

Luxa shall not be responsible or liable for any losses, scams, non-deliveries, or damaged goods resulting from transactions made outside its verified systems.

All protections — including escrow refunds, inspections, and dispute resolutions — apply only to verified on-platform transactions.

10. Refunds and Dispute Resolution

If a customer receives a product that is damaged, defective, or misrepresented, they may initiate a dispute within 24hrs after delivery.

Luxa will:

Review product verification records and inspection reports.

Mediate between the customer and vendor.

Issue refunds or resolutions based on validated findings.

Immediate Refund for Mismatch

If a vendor is found to have supplied a product that differs from the verified and 3D-rendered version, Luxa will immediately refund the customer in full.
The vendor’s payment will be withheld and their account subject to penalty review or termination.

Refunds are processed through the original payment channel.
Luxa’s decision following inspection and mediation is final and binding to all parties.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

Attempting to hack, bypass, or exploit Luxa’s platform or payment system.

Listing counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods.

Circumventing escrow or inspection systems.

Engaging in harassment, abuse, or misinformation.

Violation of these terms may lead to account termination, legal action, or loss of escrow privileges.

12. Intellectual Property

All platform content, technology, and brand assets — including Luxa’s verification system, 3D viewer, designs, and trademarks — are owned by Luxa ltd

Vendors retain ownership of their product materials but grant Luxa a non-exclusive license to display and 3D-render their verified products on the platform.

Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or distribution of Luxa’s systems is strictly prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

While Luxa enforces rigorous inspection, verification, and escrow systems, users acknowledge that:

Luxa is not liable for losses or disputes from offshore or off-platform transactions.

Luxa’s protections apply exclusively to verified, on-platform orders and payments.

Luxa shall not be held responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages exceeding the value of the affected transaction.

By using Luxa, users accept that the platform mitigates — but cannot completely eliminate — transactional risks.

14. Termination

Luxa may suspend or terminate any user or vendor account that:

Violates these Terms

Engages in fraud or misrepresentation

Attempts to bypass Luxa’s escrow or inspection systems

Funds under review may remain held in escrow until investigations conclude.

15. Updates to Terms

Luxa may revise these Terms periodically.
Changes become effective once posted on the website or app. Continued use of Luxa after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria
All disputes will first be addressed through Luxa’s internal mediation process before referral to arbitration or court.
